Preschool at Atlas

For the 2026-27 school year, we will offer serve students in preschool at our Union Station and our Carondelet Park locations. 

• Designed for four-year-old students to provide a nurturing and enriching early childhood education.
• Combines play-based learning with AppleTree’s Every Child Ready curriculum to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Focuses on holistic development in a supportive environment where children explore, imagine, and build a strong foundation for academic success.
• Encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning through individualized attention and age-appropriate activities.
• Features a balanced daily schedule and fosters parental involvement.
• Every Child Ready curriculum prepares children for kindergarten by supporting social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and academic development.
• Guided by seven principles that value the needs and experiences of children, families, and educators.

Atlas’ Early Childhood Program offers both free, publicly funded seats and private, tuition-based options. Families who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch can attend at no cost, with hours from 8:00am to 3:30pm. Before/after care and intersession programs are available for an additional fee.

To enroll, students must:

• Be at least four years old by July 31, 2026.
• Be fully potty trained by the first day of school, which means they must:
  • Initiate bathroom use independently
  • Adjust clothing and wipe without help
  • Not wear pull-ups or diapers, even at nap time.
