Whenever possible, we love to invite parents and caretakers to join us as chaperones on student expeditions!

 

Social Events

Community—among our students, families, teachers and staff—is very important to us at Atlas. We host several social events for families to interact throughout the year to build community and foster connections.

 

Atlas Honors

Atlas Honors is a school-wide celebration of students who show excellent character. Every academic session, we recognize students who are model citizens living out one of our core values: kindness, respect, integrity, excellence, stewardship, and responsibility. Student nominees and their families are invited to a special awards breakfast where their nominations are read. They receive a certificate and a t-shirt. Nominees’ names and pictures are displayed in our hallway for all to see.

 

Creating opportunities for families to connect and support each other creates a nurturing environment where students feel supported, valued, and motivated to succeed. We seize the chance to bring families together to celebrate the accomplishments and good character of our Explorers!
