As a place-based learning school, we partner with local organizations and businesses in a variety of ways:
Audience building - we want to get the word out to our community about what you’re up to, and to let your audience know about our school
Expeditions - our students take field trips that connect classroom learning to community spaces
Experts - Atlas invites neighbors and partner organizations (including professionals, artists, and activists) in to share their skills and experiences with our students
Events - we love planning events for our community in partnership with local businesses and venues
Resources - we strive to support our families by connecting them to a range of community resources and opportunities
Volunteer opportunities - Atlas students and families love learning through authentic projects that give back to the community; we're also open to inviting volunteers into our school to work directly with students or with building support
