Enrollment Process

Thank you for considering Atlas Elementary for your child!  Atlas is a new tuition-free public charter school opening in the fall of 2021 for curious, creative, and compassionate kids. We instill a love of learning while empowering our kids to build a healthy future for themselves, our community, and the world.

Atlas is growing smart!  We will initially serve only kindergarten and first grade students, allowing us to form a close-knit community and ensure that every child gets the personalized education they deserve.  Atlas will add one grade each year until we are a K-5 elementary school.

We welcome you and want to make sure that you have all the information you need as you navigate choosing the best school for your child. See below for more information about our application process.

STEP 1:  Apply

Atlas is a public charter school, free and open to all students living in the City of St. Louis.

STEP 2: Lottery

If Atlas receives more applications than there are seats available for any given grade level, we will hold a lottery as required by law. If we do not receive enough applications for a lottery, then applicants will automatically be offered a seat into Atlas on the date the lottery was scheduled to take place.  Applicants will be notified of their status via text and email.

Click HERE for more information on Atlas’ Enrollment and Lottery Policy.

STEP 3: Registration Packet

Once you have accepted your seat at Atlas, you can continue the enrollment process by completing Atlas’ Enrollment Form.  This online form requests information concerning emergency contacts, health information, and more.  You can fill the form out on a phone, tablet, or laptop.

STEP 4: Meet with an Atlas Team Member

The final step in the enrollment process is to schedule a time to meet with an Atlas Team Member.  This meeting can occur on the phone, through Zoom, or in person at our office in the Cortex.  We’ll take this time to answer your questions and ensure your enrollment forms are filled out completely.
