this week is national school choice week and to celebrate the Missouri Charter Public School Association is hosting the Saint Louis Charter School Fair one school in particular you who you have the chance to chat with his Atlas Elementary School take a look Missouri Charter Schools changing my changing communities free public open to all at Atlas we focus on the whole towel and so people say that you don't always get a chance to see that and so when I think about my own experience as a classroom teacher as well as an in administrator this is a dream where you are able to provide students with everything they need Within ask Google settings welcome to Atlas Elementary Creative uncompassionate Kids hated in the heart of St Louis is Midtown neighborhood they offer kindergarten through second-grade but us their students grow they will to buy adding a grade level each year until they are K through five school they instill a love of learning in their kids empowering them to build a healthy future for themselves or Community the world students even Explore the area by taking trips for walking venturing to the st. Louis Symphony Magic House in Forest Park what is Doug's give students a chance to engage with things directly in the community aspect of the world of words Apple kindergarten learning about weather and we have first grade who is learning about stars and moons and son and second graders learning about fossil leave and the child's development from a holistic each grade has crew in the morning to discuss characteristics and school values and then mindfulness in the afternoon we also have a Time called mindfulness would give us the time to like reset and just like breathing Tom and this is after lunch and recess and every single class around with seven academic session to eliminate summer learning loss and prevent burnout each classroom has two teachers for individualized instruction and to build strong student relationship all learning is Hands-On yes even the math and others always activities every students to do critical thinking problem solving and ideals that students walk away as problem solvers and mathematicians for your child but their daily dose of joy because that Atlas students and staff are simply happy to be there I have family here and so I need some idea if you were here because for me this is the place to be like I love it it feels good kids are excited we hear Joy is one of our priorities here and can find further information again that school fair is tomorrow 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and you can chat with all of the charter schools in to see what's going to be the best fit for your child
